SCOR’s Singapore branch to transfer entire business to SCOR Re Asia-Pacific

French re/insurer SCOR is seeking to restructure its legal entity framework in the Asia Pacific region to create a more agile and efficient organisation.

SCOR logoThis aligns with the company’s strategic plan, as it aims to align services to further enhance the delivery of high-quality client support.

Through this, the SCOR says that it aims to maximise operational resources and capital.

As part of this regional initiative, SCOR SE Singapore Branch intends to transfer its entire business, including all its life & health reinsurance contracts, to SCOR Reinsurance Asia-Pacific Pte Ltd.

The proposed transfer would be carried out by way of Scheme of Transfer under section 117 of the Insurance Act 1966, and is subject to all necessary regulatory consents and court approvals.

It is expected to take effect on January 1st, 2026, or such other date as may be approved by the Singapore court.
