Global insurer Chubb, has announced the appointment of Michael Babington as Head of Claims for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), effective 1 November 2025.<\/p>\n

\"Chubb\"Babington succeeds Richard Shanks, who will continue in the role until November.<\/p>\n

In his new role, based in London, Babington will oversee the strategy and delivery of Chubb\u2019s market-leading claims service across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).<\/p>\n

He will be reporting to Ana Robic, Regional President for Europe, Middle East and Africa, who commented: \u201cI\u2019m confident that Michael, with his extensive claims experience and deep knowledge of Chubb, will continue to drive delivery of our market-leading claims service.\u201d<\/p>\n

Babington has close to two decades of industry experience. Throughout his career, the executive has held many claims leadership positions, most recently as Head of Claims for Chubb in Australia & New Zealand.<\/p>\n

He was a London-based lawyer before joining Chubb in Australia in 2012 as a claims specialist in Financial Lines.<\/p>\n
