QBE, a business insurance provider, has entered into a partnership with Matrix iQ, a company that offers connected vehicle and driver behaviour data services.

The platform combines multiple data sources—including claims information—into a single dashboard, giving fleet operators tools to monitor risk exposure, driver conduct, and claims trends.

Managers can review performance reports, compare results to national benchmarks, and use the data to inform operational decisions.

The platform also includes environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics, such as emissions tracking, to support sustainability monitoring.

The system is currently being introduced to selected QBE clients, with broader rollout expected in the near future.

Jon Dye, Director of Underwriting, Motor for QBE Europe, commented: “Partnering with Matrix iQ allows us to offer our customers bespoke advice on managing their fleet risk and gives them valuable insight into driver trends and potential high-risk areas. This forms part of our ongoing commitment to innovation and delivering value beyond insurance.”

Dylan Taylor, Insurance Partnerships Manager at Matrix iQ, added: “I am delighted to be launching our partnership with QBE, who share our passion for innovation. Customers will now be presented with cutting-edge risk insights that will positively affect fleet management, road safety, environmental impact, and a service with longevity and value.”
