Swiss Re appoints Stephen Abrokwah as Head of L&H Japan
Global reinsurer Swiss Re has appointed Stephen Abrokwah as its new Head of Life & Health (L&H) Japan.
Abrokwah brings around 15 years of industry experience, with strong actuarial expertise and leadership skills.
He has been with Swiss Re for over 12 years, holding various senior roles, including Vice President, Senior Client Manager & Actuary, and most recently, Senior Vice President, Key Account Manager.
Earlier in his career, he served as an Economics Instructor and Research Assistant at Western Michigan University, and held roles at PwC and Enterprise Life Assurance Company.
Daisy Ning, Head of L&H APAC ex China, Managing Director at Swiss Re, commented, “Joining us from Swiss Re US, Stephen brings deep actuarial expertise and leadership that will be invaluable to our clients and team in Japan.
